While there would be serious operational restrictions imposed on DSB by a move to PCMS, the real issue is why spend $3 million to rebuild two existing ball fields when the City needs soccer and lacrosse fields?  Plus, the old Austin site will cost another $2 million or more to reconfigure as a park once the school is torn down.  Why not just build multi-use soccer and lacrosse fields at PCMS where they are desperately needed?
